Creating a Deal
Create a bilateral OTC deal, review its terms, and invite a counterparty safely.
Creating a deal records proposed terms and sends them to a counterparty. It does not deploy or fund an escrow by itself.
Readiness checklist
- Both participants are using dedicated Sepolia test wallets.
- Your account shows the required readiness checks as complete.
- The settlement token is the allowlisted TestUSDC address shown on Fees and supported assets.
- The counterparty identifier was obtained through a trusted channel.
Enter and review the terms
- Open Deals and choose Create deal.
- Select the buyer and seller roles carefully.
- Enter the TestUSDC amount and any displayed commercial terms.
- Review the funding deadline, dispute window, and allocation of fees.
- Confirm the counterparty and send the invitation.
Share the deal link through a separate trusted channel and ask the counterparty to compare the key terms before accepting it.
Before accepting
The counterparty should verify the roles, test-asset contract, amount, timing, and fee information. If anything is wrong, reject or cancel the proposal and create a corrected one. Do not rely on an informal message to modify accepted terms.
